Well in this scenario her younger brother, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are in intensive care.

Nyx is out for Vengeance hunting down that monster who put them there.

It seems that Nyx's biggest Strength (which is Friendship) can also become her biggest Weakness when pushed too far.
Her personality slowly slips to that of the real Nightmare Moon.
